📖 Complete User Guide

Upload Image

Click the upload area in the left control panel to select the image you want to split. Supports JPG, PNG, GIF formats, maximum 5MB. You can also drag and drop images directly to the upload area.

Add Split Lines

Manual Addition: Click the "Add Vertical Line" or "Add Horizontal Line" button, then drag the line to the appropriate position on the image.

Grid Cutting: Enter numbers in the "Vertical lines" and "Horizontal lines" input boxes, then click the "Apply Grid" button, and the tool will automatically create a uniform grid.

Adjust Split Lines

Click and drag the circular handle on the split line to adjust its position. Each split line can be moved independently, allowing you to precisely control the size of each split area.

Preview and Select

The preview area on the right shows thumbnails of all split regions. Click the thumbnail to select or deselect that region. The number in the upper left corner of each region indicates its export order (left to right, top to bottom).

Set Export Parameters

Width/Height: Set the size of exported images (pixels)
Aspect Ratio: Select preset aspect ratio or customize
Filename Prefix: Set the filename prefix for exported images
Padding Color: Color used to fill edges when maintaining aspect ratio
Maintain Aspect Ratio: Maintain original region proportions to avoid distortion
Export Selected Regions Only: Only export the regions you selected

Export Images

Click the "Export Selected Regions" button, and the tool will export all selected split regions according to your settings. The exported images will be automatically downloaded to your device.

Add Vertical/Horizontal Line: Add a new split line at the center of the image
Apply Grid: Create a uniform grid based on the entered number of vertical and horizontal lines
Clear All Lines: Remove all split lines and start over
Select All Regions: Select all split regions for export
Reset Image: Restore the image to its original size and position
Show/Hide Grid: Toggle the display of helper grid lines to assist with alignment

🎨 Tips to Improve Work Efficiency

Quick Social Media Grid Creation: If you need to create a 3x3 grid image for Instagram, simply set the number of vertical lines to 2, horizontal lines to 2, and click "Apply Grid".
Precise Splitting: Using the helper grid feature can help you align split lines more precisely.
Batch Renaming: Set an appropriate filename prefix, and exported images will be automatically numbered in order for easy management.
Maintain Proportions: Checking "Keep aspect ratio" when exporting can avoid image distortion, especially suitable for portraits or product photos.
Flexible Selection: You can click to select specific split regions in the preview area and only export the needed parts.

⚠️ Common Issues and Solutions

Issue: Exported images have black edges
Solution: Check the "Padding color" setting and ensure an appropriate background color is selected (usually white or transparent)

Issue: Exported images are distorted
Solution: Check the "Keep aspect ratio" option so that even if the target size differs from the original proportion, the image will not be distorted

Issue: Split lines cannot be dragged
Solution: Make sure you click on the circular handle on the split line, not other parts of the line

Note: Exported image quality is the same as the original, the tool does not reduce image quality
